ABSTRACTS ‘Submit Full Length manuscripts to JPBA’
Important Note:
20th International Symposium PBA2009 invites delegates to submit scientific abstracts online for the conference.Please submit the abstracts in the prescribed format on our website http://www.pba2009.org .Delegates can not submit their Abstracts until they do not make a registration payment.
Eligibility :
Delegate must be registered for 20th International Symposium PBA2009 at the time of submission of the abstract. Students presenting papers need to submit a letter from the Head of the Department to be eligible for discounted registration.

- Abstract submission deadline : 15th Feb 2009
- Acceptance notification will be provided after : 15th Feb 2009
Abstract Submission Guidelines :
- All abstracts should be written, submitted and presented in English only.
- In each abstract, the name of the presenting author should be underlined.
- It is the presenting authors' responsibility to ensure that permissions for copyright transfer and that of co-authors are obtained. Submission of the abstract will assume that such permissions are taken by the author(s). The Presenting Authors of accepted abstracts will also be required to sign a copyright transfer agreement.
- Selected abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings – which will be brought out as a supplement of an Indexed (pubmed) Journal.
Oral Communications
A limited number of oral communications will be scheduled for a maximum of 20 min (including discussion). Facilities for video projector with PC (Power Point for Windows) will be provided.
Poster presentations
Poster presentations will carry equivalent scientific status to oral communications in the programme. Posters will be displayed for three successive days, from Monday, March 2nd till Wednesday, March 4th. Authors should be ready to discuss the work on the day of their presentation. Posters will be mounted at allocated positions. Poster space provided will be 5 feet × 3 feet.
Abstracts submission
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by a scientific review committee. Abstracts accepted for publication will be printed in the Symposium Abstract Book.. Acceptance notification will take place by e-mail according to the arrival order.
The following abstract format is recommended:
- All abstracts must be written in English.
- Data tables and figures can be included, but in black-and-white only.
- The abstract body (one page, justified) should contain no more than 3,000 characters (with spaces), which is approximately 350 words.
- The abstract format should use single line spacing and 12-point Times New Roman font. For symbols and Greek characters, Symbol Font is recommended.
- The title should be written in 12-point BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS. One line of space should be left between the title and the authors’ names and affiliation, between the authors’ names and affiliation and the main text, and between the main text and references.
- Authors’ names should be written with initial(s) only before the family name, without titles, with the presenting author’s name underlined. Authors’ affiliation should be given, if necessary, with superscript numbering and written in italic.
- References should be numbered consecutively in the order in which they are cited in the text. Citations in the text should be marked with the appropriate Arabic numerals enclosed in parentheses, e.g. (1) or (2-5), not super- or sub-scripted.
- The references should comply with the following style and punctuation:
